i didn't put this in the emergency cuz he's been like this for a week and not changed :( my male molly Spooky isn't healthy ......um he eats normal and puts up a good fight for his food....but other than that he kinda sulks on the bottom and doesn't move.......when i go up to the tank he gets up and swims......but sometimes he kinda swims almost vertical. his tail isn't open to full size but it's not clamped like he's deathly ill  i dunno maybe he's sad and one other thing it looks like his scales are wet (yeah i know he's in water) but more like he's sweating  got any ideas......besides what i said i can't see anything wrong with him.....the fish don't bother him fins and such r fine......and all the other fish are happy and healthy (sorry no test kits can't tell u the params) :*)

Clamp fins are a sign that something is up with spooky, 2 things spring to mind:-

> Ammonnia & Nitrite levels too high causing skin irration, i know you havent a test kit but i highly recommend one. Maybe a partial water change is called for.

> Skin/body flukes (does he flick off items in the tank like gravel & decorations?)

as for the bubbles on his skin i'm not what that is. Does it look like air bubbles or white spots known as ich (White Spot)

he's been like this since i got him.......the other fish aren't showing any signs of high ammonia or nitrites..........i will do a water change but he's kinda perked up right now.......he's active enough sometimes.......but i know theres something wrong  he don't rub up against anything.......and i don't know what u're saying about bubbles????????? thanks.....i'll keep watching him

I was hoping whether you could tell me if the bubbles on his skin are white spots or just air bubbles?

See my sig (diseases) see if any of the symptoms match the problem. Clamped fins are a sign of something wrong :(
