One Guppy Chasing the Other!!

Hi All,

As you know I have an already overstocked 50L tank. I have two guppies in the tank and one is constantly chasing the other around (I think they are two males). Im a little worried about the one being constantly chased, as his tail is now torn and it must be exhausting!!

I don't know what to do? Should I get another one? I don't want to overstock my tank even more, however I am planning on getting a 130L tank in the next week or two.

Any advice would be great!!

Getting a new tank will not instantly solve your overstocking problem right off as you have to wait for the tank to cycle before adding fish. So no please do not get another guppy. Are you 100% sure they are both males? One might be a female and the other fish is chasing her to try and have babies. but if it is two males on just might be territorial. Photos could help us determine their genders
