One fish you really want but you dont have.

I want you to name the fish (fresh or salt) that you would really want but can't or just don't have yet... Dont think about prices or care requirements I just want to know what you would really want.

My fish I would really want?

Saltwater: Mandarinfish

Freshwater: A large school of rainbow fish OR discus.
I would love to have a tank of discus.
More achievable short term: Angel fish as primary in a big tank- I want to have one grow to be BIG and beautiful. I like the 3 stripe traditional one- to me it's the prettiest.

I’d love to have a group of red devils. Unfortunately, their temperament means groups of them don’t work out so well.

Blue Gourami and Black Phantom Angelfish

Still on my quest for those black emperor tetras, to add to my current party of one. :( Still hesitant to buy online..

It’s one of those fish that people get sucked into buying because they’re striking with their colour at the pet store, but they don’t tell you how big they can get and how aggressive they can be.

I’d love to have one, but can’t keep it right now. One day though, I’ll have one, it will be glorious.
They go get mean as they grow up, but they're one of the prettiest fish in the hobby.

HMM. Have to think about this one for a bit. I have kept most of my dream fish but still have some out there.
Bumblee Bee Oscar Cichlid
Orange Pike Cichlid
Heros Liberfier
Tigrinus Catfish
Black Arowana
African Arowana
Black or red fin wolffish (but very soon will have one!)

I think most people have issues when they put them with other territorial/aggressive fish. I have one in my 55 with shrimp, danios, honey gourami, and lambchop rasbora. Not one single issue. Not saying it’ll work every time, but as long as they are the boss of the tank they seem to be fine with tank mates. It definitely wasn’t the case when I had him/her in with a firemouth. It was a constant game of chase

I don’t have any one fish I’d want in particular, but I’d love to have a saltwater tank with soft corals and anemones. But alas they are illegal where I’m at

Freshwater…I don’t know why but i really want a zebra pleco. I think they are gorgeous
