20g, with added plastic plants from The-Wolf ( ), awaiting more khulis, I hope. The java moss is doing pretty well, too.

An apparently 3l tupperware container, fishless cycling, for no apparent reason.... Stupid moments of random boredom.

I like the way you got the plants in the first pic Feeshy..and second pic shows what u can acheive with a little imagination....this for a betta ? Mary :)

Possibly a dwarf puffer, the idea being, at least I can't kill it by not having a cycled filter, since I must have put 5ml of ammonia in :look:

Please don't post any of yours here then (jk), at least give your fish a clear view, it can get pretty boring in a tank that size (whatever yours is Dwarfs). It is the LEAST you can do for them, well sorta kinda. :D

P.S. OohFeeshy, DON'T PUT ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING IN THAT CONTAINER !!!

Boo feeshy =)

Lovely tank, didn't even realise the plants were fake when looking at it first time around! I'm sure the kuhlis are loving it/will love it.

The 3 litre container, I'd keep empty. Maybe keep an apple snail in there or something, they come in purdy purple! But definatly wouldn't go for a dwarf puffer. It's only just over a gallon in size, and dps really do require at least 5G in my opinion, and 3G in others. But haven't heard anyone say 1G yet =/ Get yourself a bigger container dear :p They really are fishies worth keeping though.

The streaks don't obstruct my fish's view, the algae does :p

This old , but then again I haven't been here in a while .

What else are you going to put in the 20 , Feeshy ? :)

small fresh water shrimp could live in a small container , a tiny sponge filter would be nice :p

Algae and streaks :grr: , my Son [ Dwarfs ]and a few others know where I stand , I don't think the fish care , and as long as the water inside the tank is good [ regular water changes ] what could the fish possibly need a view of ;) wallpaper ? the t.v ?

umm , if I don't like someones picture , I don't post . :p

And I'm not flaming or trolling ;)

I agree that you should be tactfull but alot of people post to get positive and negative feedback...I know I want both sides when I post... but people should be tactfull there are good and bad things about everything...if you have something negative to say find something positive to go along with it.

Honestly! People are so over sensitive in this forum, why be tactful about streaks! . They are just streaks if it hurts someones feelings to say their tank is streaky then they are mad.

Christ, what is it with you lot and streaks on the glass? I'm sure if you all went out and took a photo with flash of your tanks there'd be streaks galore.... I don't care or notice, the fish don't either, they only show up when you use flash photogtaphy.... -_-

Yeah, they don't look too bad, do they? I might see if I can trot along to MA once I've cleaned everything, attempt to get more khulis and an algae eater. And some feeder shrimp. And maybe a bichir -_-

LOL, tell me about it... Just come back from a week in ching chong China land and realised I was probably better off having no lights on than using the timer. Blah, stupid green algae, all in my java moss.

I didnt think anything was ever going ot go in those containers as feeshy has posted those pics before.

Not these ones I haven't, my takeaway container planteds I did, but this is different. Slighty bigger volume and filtered.

It does have a sponge filter, hence the crazy fishless cycling :) I wasn't actually going to keep a DP in it, at least not for a long time, if at all, only to make sure it was healthy before I moved it to a larger tank.

Exactamente. Although, it seems to be only me people whinge to about streaks :p I feel unloved :(

Sorry I didn't see the sponge filter .

We too , Dwarfs and I have been fired upon for water spots , steaks , and algae ..........it is more noticeable when the flash hits tanks..............we have many tanks of beautiful healthy fish , we do regular water changes , filter maintenance , and feed them well ....and once every so often we clean the glass
:p
