Okay, here's the deal. After a brief absense from fish keeping (due to university) I'm now getting my own place and considering the joys of keeping an aquarium or two again. The only problem is, I'm at a loss of what to keep! I can't afford, or have space for more than 2 aquariums :/ Here's what I will have and some of my ideas. I'd be happy of any sugestions for ideas for these tanks.

Tank 1 (inherited from my mother) 24x12x12

Tetra Tank (small school of tetras, small feature catfish and maybe some corries)
Dwarf Seahorse Tank (Several pairs of dwarf seahorses)

anyone got any other good ideas? ...

Tank 2 (my baby!) 48x18x15

Archer Fish species tank (Small school of archers)
South African Cichlid Tank (Lake Malawi Chichlids)
Discus Tank - (A few Discus and a school of tetras)
Lion fish Species Tank - (A single specimen)

Any other ideas on this one would be welcomed too!

Dificulty is not so much of an issue as something that will provide a spectacular display or an interesting focal point and can be accomadated within the respective spaces.

Thankyou in advance

James

Hmmm ... yeah the smaller one is looking more and more like it's going to be a tetra tank. Not so much for the tetras as the zebra pleco's I keep looking at. I'm gonna need alot more reasearch before I spend my money on one of those little beauties though!

From what I've been reasearching, that size tank is okay for dwarf seahorses. They only grow to a couple of inches. However the constant feeding with small live foods and hatching of the brineshrimp that then need enriching may prove to be my down fall :)
