Nash says I have possible 2 females. Personally, I think there are 3 of them ^_^ My little 603 looks like a girl to me, But I am new to this!

Anyhow, here are some random photos:

First 2 are the (possible) girls in the girl tank. I'm not REALLY worried if one turns out not to be a girl, I am not worried about breeding since it's kind of a community tank ^^ There has been absolutly NO aggression so far, and I mean NONE! Actually, L006 and my pre-existing girl have been side-by-side the whole time following eachother, but with o flaring or nipping. :)

This is the boy that went to my boyfriend. He has more photos, but I wont nag him to post them :)

Here is one of the boys, who is very aggressive.

And this is who shares the divided tank with him ^_^ Little girl I think, but I could be wrong.

The next 4 are the ones going to new homes at my moms office. The pictures are bad, I know ^_^

Number 10 is definitely a little female. Now 9 is a different story. I thought it was a male until I packed it and then I thought I saw an egg spot but then couldn't make up my mind. The fins look like it might be a male but then some of the females I got from this batch have fairly long fins.

I'm just happy they are going to good homes and it's cleared up my space for the next batch. I'm trying for a larger percentage of females. They will be crowntails. I did get one or two fairly nice CT's - or apparently half breeds from this cross and a marble and a grizzle which was what I wanted in the first place with the pairing.

By the way.....
<<<<<< he's a brother to them all

^_^ I already found good homes for 2 of them. One male and one female (though I did warn I'm not POSOTIVE on any females!) I am not giving away L006, but the other one that I am pretty sure is a female is going, along with this male:

And here is some flaring photos of the others:'

This is the little boy who was acting sick. He is feeling MUCH better now, even enough to flare for me!

Those are pictures of the boys going to my moms work. The 2 that already found homes are actually going to someone who has kept fish for a long time and knows all about them :) He wanted 2 females, but I was not willing to depart with 2.

The sixth picture from the last set of pictures on the first page looks like fish of the month to me.

Edited because I quoted the wrong person :*)

I'm stocked :) Though I am very suddenly in love with the girls... I might set up my 10 gallon with my babysitting money and use it for girlies

I just fed them all 4 Hikari betta biogold bites... And now they are all STARING at me, waiting for more.. And I know I shouldn't, but I'm just so tempted :)

Another one gone, went to my aunt. She is new to bettas, but I made sure to give her a LOOOOONG lecture out care, and she went out and bought all new supplies and plants. :) 2.5 gallon for the non-aggre boy in tank 5

Yes! Even more photos! I call this set "Hide and Seek" with the girls in the community tank :)

I also call this one "Kaczy cowers in the presense of the ghostly yogurt drops"

"Uhg... I give up, this game is too hard."

And a picture of the other two "girls", though the light one may or may not really be a girl :)

I'll try and lay off the pictures for a bit. The light girl is going to a new home... But I really don't want to give her up! I may have to hold on to her...

What color is she? I have been admiring her since you first posted her pics. she looks reddish pink, and gold. Very Pretty

NASH,
I just realized that you live on long Island. Me Too. are all of these from the same spawn? What were the parents? Sorry if this was info was posted before, I may have missed it.

She is a dull orange with red finnage, and a clear spot on her tail for whatever reason :) Right in the middle, not on an edge. The rays in her tail are purple with bright light, but normally just red ^^

The questionable girl - with the light blue fins - if it turns out to be a boy will be absolutely drop dead beautiful. If it's a girl, it will remain the same. Those spikes on the tail will get longer... if it's a male they will either spike like a CT or look similar to the one <<<<<< in this photo only a different color.

I'm actually out on Eastern Long Island.

They are all from the same parents... unfortunately a LFS CT which apparently wasn't a full CT... I never saw so many different tails. He was a butterfly. Hence all the crazy white markings in weird places.

Actually I got one out of the spawn that is such a dark blue that he is almost black looking. Another one is white with pale blue fins. He's very small - was in the runt tank - and is just now starting to grow.... he's about the size of a 5 week old now. Just wouldn't grow and wouldn't grow.

You can see the color variations.

I think the little questionable girl is really a male, now... I did some research, and spent a good 15 minuets trying to find that little white spot :) Found it on both my other girls though. Because of this questionability, (s)he will not be going to a new home, but staying here. However, (s)he will be staying in the female tank, since there are no problems, until problems occur (which if it's a male, I'm sure will eventually)
