OMG I HAVE KILLED OVER 150 MOLLIES

sorry for your loss, but as other said, accidents do happen. Its not like this is something that happens all the time, and I'm sure you will probably be far too vigilant in the future now! ;)

Leave it for a couple of days and then think about what you want to do with your fish. You have others so there is no rush to sort out this tank. I hope you reconsider and get back into looking after your fish and enjoying breeding them again.

:-( That's a tragic accident, but i don't think you should quit the hobby because of an accident. People male mistakes that's something human, you didn't want them to die and i am sure you are not stupid being able to get 100 plus mollies fry is not something a careless person can do. If all the people in the world quited doing things because of a mistake we would still be using muskets and rowing accross the ocean. So don't give up

Keep your fish, breed them again and just be more careful. We are suppose to move foward by learning from our mistakes not to stop whenever something bad happens.

So don't quit :-( jeeee i am actually getting pretty sad about this. Still i urge again DON'T QUIT

hey everyone thanks for the kind words. i have cried ever since this has happened I am just about over this now. I went to take my fish back to the store and got almost all the way down thier and changed my mind. I couldn't give them away after I have raised most of these from babies. I just want you all to know that I am still keeping fish. Even though I am stupid.

I lost 5 fry today. My 17L fry tank didnt have a heater, then last night my central heating decided not to work, their temp dropped suddenly to 68F and I lost them.

I know its only 5 fry but the result was still my fault and I feel very angry with being so stupid for not buying a £15 50w heater.

Still lesson learned.... I'll be getting a heater today in preperation for my next batch of fry. I think you should do the same. Just give it another go.

That sucks the big one. Accidents do happen. I agree with the others. Dont give up on fishkeeping. You wont make that mistake again, and you might make new ones, but I cant think of anyone I know with fish who hasnt had to learn about something the hard way. Youll feel better in a few days. :/

i'm glad you decided to keep your fish... think of how upset you'd be if that woman had taken them the first time you tried to give them away, and then you'd realized how much you wanted to keep them. be glad. and dont worry, accidents happen to everyone. it wasnt your fault. i'm glad your fishies have someone who cares as much as you do, to take care of them.

I'm glad you're keeping them too. We certainly do all make mistakes, I mentioned one a few days ago that caused me to lose some cardinals :( I know it makes you feel really bad. But that's because you CARE, and that's what makes you a good fishkeeper
