Hey man!!... I've been restraining meself and ignored the E-bay thing for quite a while..... (I'm proud of myself)

However!!!... tonight, I saw an item that I really want!!!! - If it kills me, I must have this!!!!.... My all time hero's book.... "The Encyclopedia of Tropical Fish" ..... By Dr. Herbert Axlerod....

He is Mr. Tropical fish Aquariums and everything I have ever learnt about fish is based on his theories and convictions!!!.... I have placed a bid and is currently leading the bid, but it only closes on the 18th!!!... I trully hope we have no serious aquarist bidding against me, but I WANT THIS BOOK!!!!

Geeze!!!... Am I so glad that South Africans are so ignorrant about fishkeeping..... I was ready for any opposing offers coming in and counted down the seconds...... Uncontended!!.... I did not even have to use my reserve price offered.... I got it for R95, (which is about $12)..... with shipping & all, I am now the proud new owner of Dr. Axelrod's Encyclopedia of Tropical Fish for only $15...... 700 pages of leisure for me. (I was prepared to go to $110, if I had opposition) - does anyone have this book???

My aquaclear filter was delivered today and in the meantime, I also got an external memory (500gb) for my laptop, an aquarium 150W heater, a 4 night stay (all inclusive) holiday at a holiday farm spa.... some more Bonzai tree and cacti seeds.... Impellers for my submersible pumps.... and a ticket to Smokey's concert in SA.....

Getting a lot more responsible on the type of bargains I fall for..... at least, I can use these.....

OK.... I got this lighter which the guy says it is a collectors'item and may work as it only needs gas....

But then,..... I also bought this Canon camera.....

Has anybody got one???... is it a digital download cam or do I have to buy a film for it??.... that will determine wether it was a bargain or not..... I hope it is a digital downloadable... They did not specify, but I know "Canon" is a good product???

Looks like a film camera judging by the shape on the back.
Also, the back section looks like it opens to put the fillm in and the slim vertical window on the back is to see what type of film you have in the camera.
