The are by far the most attractive cories I have ever seen. I have never been a fan of the catfish world but they grew on me and I am now a catfish nut. I am setting up a 30 (U.S.) Gallon tank with sand, plants, and rock formations, and bogwood with about 6-8 of these guys. Corydorus trilineatus only!

Before I go through with getting them all, I am going to have to research them some more. :) But once I get them or if I get them, I will be sure to take many pictures and show you all here.

I bought a two of these beautiful corys lasy weekend to go with my corys sp's, its great fun watching all four of them dashing about the tank and playing follow the leader!

If you get any I'm sure they will give you many hours of viewing pleasure.

:D

Aren't they the cutest?! I LOVE my little guys :) I even rescued a one-eyed one from the lfs and he's doing really well :p They are so much fun and race each other up and down the sides of the tank all day long  Some of mine are more reticulated like the one in that pic and some of them are more spotted.

Corydoras trilineatus is a fine little cory.

They are often sold as "C. julli, but IMHO, these are the nicer of the two. Here's a link with information about them:

If you get them, I'm sure you'll be very happy with them. :D
I would have to agree that a lot of people mistake them for juli. Too bad too because they look a lot different in their markings, but I think that's because I used to own a trilineatus. They're great little catfish and are extremely docile like most corydoras. Mine recently passed away... I don't know why, but he wasn't doing well... :(

Congratulations on your find and I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

$2.95 at mine, but the LFs only buys them from a local breeder and they're not in often. :/

Great fish. I kind of like the way julii looks too though . . . sterbai's are my favorite spotted species. :p

Similis is a great looking spotted cory too . . . aside from being super expensive . . .

My other favorite spotted cory is leucomelas - blackfin cory
