Omg! I Almost Started To Cry

I don't really pay much attention to him i must admit and only like glance at him every once in a while while on the computer. But today i went to go change his container out and brought him downstairs. I opened it up and saw that he looked like plastic. Really wierd. So i like kinda poked him but he wouldn't move so i thought he was dead. I put some water on the palm of my hand and poured it on top of him I was so happy when the water that formed around him started to pulseate. So i remembered when i researched pacman frogs before i got him and that they will hibernate so yeah i kinda forgot. Im gonna research it again now.

At the moment my horned frog is only eating a medium mouse every 4-5 weeks where normaly he takes an XL mouse every week.I am not worried as he does this every winter

Wow your guy is a cutie My budda looks even wierder today. But im confident he's fine. I feel bad cause i read that they go into hibernation when in extreme temperatures. I guess i'm gonna have to get him a bulb or something to warm him up. I have no choice because he's in my room the warmest of the house but i guess it's not warm enough for him. I haven't feed mine mice yet cause the frozen ones are so expencive but i'm gonna start soon. He's still pretty small though so i'm not in to much of a rush. He loves his earthworms and crikets. Here's pics. How long have you had yours.

This is when i first got him and thought it was ok to have him in mostly shallow water.( shallow enough for him not to drown)

These pics are like from last year when i first got him. In some he's about the size of a silver dollar in. He was so cute. Oh i was just about to take a new pic of him but decided not to disturb him but I could see him breathing so he's ok.
