Actually, I've read that VTs with rays that extend further than the fins are known as combtails, so maybe that's what yours is.

Miss DD...my 2 older boys keep sitting on bottom of tank, until they see me and then they come to the top, they are whiter round their faces now, and so big in comparison to my new ones. bless them!
