Oliver Can't Swim Properly!

The platy are going to be seperated tonight :) They'll go in the community tank (As I've been meaning to put them elsewhere anyway.) No chance of Oliver eating them, too big for him to munch on. They're roughly a little bigger than a ember tetra size. I'll try to post a picture asap

Platys have been removed. Oliver has less balance today - Floating on his side, Still alive though lol.
Salt arrives tomorrow, so shall keep this topic updated :)

Also ordered a varied diet for him if he recovers, pellets all the time wasn't a good idea it seems.

Ended up with Aquarium Salt (Town only had that. D:)
Decided to put some in the tank anyway, that was two hours ago.

Just went up to check on him, and he's swimming around the tank happily, came to greet me and everything. Even did his happy wiggle when I opened the lid to have a look (He hasn't done the happy wiggle since he got ill!)
I've said this before.
So I hope this isnt temporary. But I'm glad to see him a little happier.

His belly is still a little large at the moment though

Annd, Olivers back on his side. He's a little more responsive than before, but he's not able to keep his balance, and has become unsociable again.

I'm broke, and beginning to lose hope of ridding him of this. He's on day 5 of starving him, platy were removed, aquarium salt temporarily gave him a break from whatever it is. He's taking in ALOT of water, is it possible that's causing this? The medicine I treated him with did nothing. The waters clean.

Other than epsom salt, I am lost on what to do now.
Being broke, I cant get it at the moment either. Next payment of money is saturday.

Second dose of medicine didn't do anything.
Fed him some bloodworm today which he enjoyed. Aquarium salt didn't do much.
He's perfectly sociable, just like the old Ollie, but he just can't move around very well.

Oliver is in a new 30 litre tank which we had set up :)
We added aquarium salt to the water, which perked him up the following day.

This morning he was able to swim around the tank normally, however I've noticed he's not really red anymore - more of a pale brown. Is this something I can sort?

Am not an expert with bettas but I think any fish losing colour is a sign of stress somewhere along the line. So if he's not been well for some time he's going to be feeling stressed. Maybe it will return when he's on the mend.
