Okay to be honest, my biggest failure is getting Mrs. doodle involved in my hobby.
Planning an Asian themed tank. Pearl Gouramis, "They're ugly". Rasbora, "They're ugly". Khulis, which I want badly, "They're creepy". She has a snake phobia.
Oh but Neons are pretty. Ugh.

I had a 5.5 gallon that I was using to grow guppy and platy fry there's was about 20 in it when I got really sick and couldn't get out of bed for a week the person I had taking care of the tank over feed and by the time I got better most of the fry where dead
The lesson always make sure the people you leave your tanks in the care of know enough to not kill your fish.
