Aw congrats. Is that their natural colour? I have senn some in the lfs that look like Polly.

Yes, this is indeed their natural color. But if you've seen some that look like Polly then that is probably their natural color as well. I think it ranges from the gray to orange and sometimes red.

And this little guy's mouth doesn't seem to be deformed like Polly's He is so small it's hard to tell, but I believe he closes it because he eats like a normal fish and not like Polly

I vowed long ago never to buy another dyed Parrot. This little guy is soooo cute. Polly, my bigger BP, chases him all over the tank and once in a while my little guy will try and fight back .......too funny!!!! I think they'll get along alright in the end!!

Actually, I think this little guy may be a little different "type" of Blood Parrot. Really not sure though............wish I could find more information about these guys other than the obvious but there's not a whole lot out there that I haven't researched already
