Ok Id Please!

how big do they get? i know this is a wicked dumb question, but im looking for a fish to survive in a quick moving stream through winter here in MASS. i dont want to do koi. could these guys hold up?? i doubt it cause of my knowledge for s.a. and c.a. but it never hurts to ask.

haha. you right, it never hurts to check. i was just teasing. its just like england, but this year it really hasnt gotten that bad. its usually around 50 degrees f. the coldest my tanks have ever been is 64 so i was wondering if it is possible to keep them over winter in a cold temp. and let them thaw out over summer.
 
If its an unheated pond you want one in, then I woudent go any lower than 60f.
ok. thanks much sev. boy! i think it gets a bit lower so im gonna try to find something native to my area to throw in there. maybe a few calico bass or some sunnys. again, thanks!
 
Not a problem. They may go lower than that, but I woudent want to risk it. Calico bass would be a good way forward.
