attitudes to tattoos over here have softened considerably.

I have both of my wrists tattooed too and they have never been questioned at middle management level.

Only person ever bothered about mine is the other half. He loves the art work involved, he likes to see them on men, hates them on women. I got mine before we got together, but would still have had it done anyway.

It is girly, still need to get someone to photograph it, no point in asking other half.

Ok part of me wishes I had not took that photo.

It has faded beyond belief.

I know it was 13 yrs ago I had it done, but I have lost half of the tattoo without the greenery.

Yes it is girly, yes it is a cliche, however when I had it done there were not as many women with a tattoo on their shoulder especially this one.

I had it done in Wolverhampton years and years before moving to Lancashire, good job I did not move to Yorkshire.

It always reminds Andrew that there must be Red Roses on Valentines Day and Birthdays. I have one in the Garden, I just have a thing about the Red Rose.

There was a hell of a lot of yellow and green in the branches that did not have an outline and there were reds and oranges in the rose itself. I feel like it has halved in size, and is wilting and dried out.

I do, I use it on scars and tatoos on holiday aswell. I think I need to bite the bullet and go get it re-done.

modern ink is a lot better too.

Doesn't break down as quickly once in contact with the bodies fats.

Just one thing, when you say MODERN ink, it makes me sound really OLD!!

Just have to wait till I can still for longer than 10 minutes.

May even look better than it did originally.

it needs the red and some black redoing as apparently I'm a bleeder and lose a lot of blood duringtattoos and loss of some colour, I never got round to going back!!

i might get a small one on my ankle when im older but i dont like them that much tbh.
