I recently spawned my bettas, and as they are bigger now I moved them into a community tank in a big breeding net so they could have better filtration, heating etc. Anyway, they were fine for a few days, have just started accepting foods, then....
I woke up this morning, and there's a zebra danio swimming round in the net! Obviously it's jumped in there, but I don't know how it managed it, I made sure that the top of the net was above the surface level of the water. Anyway, I can't see any more babies. There was about 25-30 of them. Would the danio have eaten them? This was my first spawn, I think I've lost them all.
I only moved them because they 5gal they were in had heat and light but no filtration. I wanted to make sure they were healthy by being in this tank.
