Oddballs For A Planted 5gal

Aquatic Design Centre in London, on Great Portland Street. They're about £2-3 each, as I recall. Appear to be hardy and adaptable, though they quite obviously need a tank with a sand not gravel substrate (mine spend most of the time underground except for the siphon and the top of the shell). No real impact on snail numbers, but it's fun to see them hunting anyway.

Cheers, Neale

Thanks Neale, I keep that in mind if i'm ever down in London and keep my eyes open for local ones.

At least i know there are some in the UK now so fingers crossed i will find some eventually.

Got any you could post Neale? :hey:
These little plant-eating snails are infesting my aquaria! :shifty:

a heavy planted 5g thats a bucket of water isnt it will their be any room for fish

Took me 3 buckets to fill :p

I would be interested to here any further suggestions for fish species as I’ve just set up a six gallon heavily planted tank. It’ll be a couple of weeks before it’s ready for any fish. I was thinking of perhaps five neon tetras or some other small bright species. Any suggestions for numbers and species would be most appreciated.
