Odd Platy Behavior

It sounds very much like you have internal bacterial infection affecting the tank, the sooner you treat the tank with the right med the better your chances are of curing the fish and preventing the infection spreading further. Have you tested your tanks water for ammonia, nitrites, nitrates and ph at all with an accurate test kit recently?

im using the pad test strip, ammonia=0, nitrite=0, pH=6.8. temp=80 degrees F. nitrates= ? (low 20's)

Could i use betta fix remedy on them?

what do you reccomend? Wouldnt that damage the beneficial bacteria?

well, the pregnant platy died today; found her floating on the top of the water.

when my females are pregnant they will hang out at the top or bottum, white poo can be internal parasites.

sorry to hear she died, does your lfs have a return policy?
