odd otos

ok It apears after having put my sand in, my otos have decided to stop hanging on the glass and instead rest under decor, or swim about between the plants usually resting on the sand . I even saw them eating shrimp pellets the other day anyone else notice this with there otos?

are shrimp pellets ok in thier diet or should they stay strictly on vegies?

theres usually quite a bit of variety of food in the tank from day to day. Flakes, shrimp pellets, bloodworms, brinesgrimp, algea wafers and daphnia. is this ok?
I tried Cuccumber but only the snails seemd interest

Thats fine for them to eat, my wife has one in her tank and he gets catfish pellets, wafers, frozen foods, shelled peas......he eats anything.
