Fish Crazy
Recently I've been changing my tanks about a bit & on a few occasions now i have found one of my Corydoras Hastatus half buried in the sand. At first i panicked thinking it was me that buried the fish & felt really guilty, but yesterday when adding a new plant i witnessed the fish dive bomb the sand burying itself with only it's tail sticking out. I can only presume this is a defence mechanism, has anybody else witnessed this behaviour?
