I mentioned before that i've got fungus with my silver doller...So I waited 3 days, started to repeat the treatment, because the fungus came back...It's day 2 now, and my blue gouramie developed an ULCER!!!!!It looks BAD!!!! I' ve done a water replacement(20%) and decided to stop the treatment, was worried that the meds might be causing the problem???? I don't know what to do...I'm very stressed and feel like giving up. I don't know how a hospital tank works and don't think I will be able to cope with it? I can't leave my poor gouramie like this neither my silver doller????

that because you stil validating, when registering with the forum you should have recieved an email with an activation link, check any junk/spam folders or there should be a re sent button somewhere but i can't remember where

It's not where it used to be and I'm not sure it's even available any more. It may have gone away with the update. I was away from the forum for over a year so I'm not totally sure. You may want to PM William (the big boss) and have him validate it for you. There is also this thread where William says to email him. Just be patient as he is very busy.

If it's a dwarf gouramis chances are it will die. Take a look at some of the ulcer posts in the gouramis section. Unfortunately it's something they are prone to and seems to be a recurring problem. I've lost one female dwarf and it looks like another has got the ulcer, which at first didn't seem too bad, but it's rapidly getting worse, so I don't hold out much hope.
I'd keep treating for the fungus on your silver dollar, as I don't know if anyone has managed to 'cure' these ulcers on the gouramis.
if possible, remove the gouramis especially if you have any others in the tank as it could spread. A hospital tank is just that, a small tank with heater/filter etc, which you can use for sick fish. As it's small it is easier to medicate without effect to your other fish.
Good luck
