do you let it just run for 24 hours or is there a way to stop it at night I just hookt one up on my 29g and i believe that you don't need co2 during the night

No you dont need co2 of a night time. However sue to the nature of the yeast co2 it should never produce too much co2 to be harmful to your fish of an evening.

I guess you could disconnect the air hose or get some airhose tightners and close them of a night time.

Closing the line might be a bad idea, the pressure that builds up inside could cause the top to blow off or something.
I've always left mine running 24/7 without any problems at all, and i use 2 bottles on the one 12G tank.
Have a look at the fish when you wake up, are they gasping for air? If not, dont worry. If they are, perhaps run an airstone through the night so that the CO2 will be released by the surface aggitation

I leave mine on all the time. The diffusion ladder is pretty poor & inefficent anyway, but regardless...

There are pros & cons to adhereing to the lighting regeme . I prefer to just keep mine on (even though I have now added a twice as efficent reactor, the Barr modded Venturi Reactor). In my 60L I now get a constant 25ppm CO2 (plus & minus huge errors in testing of course).

I followed another posters idea of keeping the cannister on top of the hood directly above the light starters.

Therefore when the light is on the starters get hot and the warmth makes the fermentation process increase.

When the light is off the starters cool down and the fermentation process slows.

It still produces when the lights are off but at a slower bubble rate.

I leave it on without disconnecting it or stop it... I have 2 units of Nutrafin CO2 kit in my 16G tank and I dont see any problem caused.

Thanks for all the reply' i just going to let it run then and keep an eye on my fish

One yeast CO2 kit on a 29g isn't going to cause you any problems if its left on 24/7. You'd probably need 3 or 4 to over dose CO2 in a 29g.
