nutrafin co2 system?

my plants are enormous now! I need to have a major trimming session tomorrow when I do a water change. It does make a huge difference really quickly, even if your lighting isn't optimal.

Thanks Lisa - sounds good, think I'll go for it. So much planning for a new tank... but then that's almost as much fun as actually doing it, at least it always looks good in my imagination!!

Has anyone any experience of the Nutrafin CO2 natural plant system, they are selling them for £10 at my lfs at the moment and I wondered if they are worth getting. I thought once I had used up the sachets that came with it I could go on to using a home-made yeast mixture.

I am doing this except with two 1litre JBL Bio Co2 bottles in my Juwel aquarium.

After i used the first mixture i now just make up my own yeast and sugar mixture every two weeks.
