Just to clarify, are you getting confused as to HOW the co2 system alters the pH? You mention adding no bicarb and more yeast, do you mean adding this to the co2 nutrafin canisters? The amount of bicarb and yeast has nothing to do with the co2 affecting your pH AS SUCH. whats coming out of the system is just co2. The mix you put in the nutrafin won't change that....
BUT
YES, if you add more yeast to the nutrafin system your pH WILL drop. Because there will be MORE co2 being produced in a shorter amount of time, leading to a fall in pH in your tank. But BE VERY CAREFUL if you do this, because:
1) the pH fall will be FAST (bad for your fish)
and
2) the nutrafin system WONT LAST as long as it usually does. For example if you get a month out of your nutrafin co2 supply usually, you will less if you add more yeast. The whole reaction happens faster, produces more co2, but burns out quicker.
