Nudibranch Found

It may sound cruel, but you could place it in a disposable cup with some water and microwave it. It should die in seconds. Just cover the cup in case it pops.

dont prolong death just get the job done quickly (without the use of a microwave!) they may be a pest but still should treat them with some humanity!

Also ski good news on the flatworm exit apparently its readily available again over here so shouldnt be hard to get hold of

sorry should have mentioned. Used the tweezers to hold it on a flame untill the tweezers and the nudibranch were all glowing orange. I guess it was a pretty quick and fast death. Have washed the tweezers with boiling water and soap.

So its gine but keeping a lookout for another one just in case

Thanks guys,

Nim

If you do start seeing more (and I suspect you will), that means you've definitely had eggs laid. And if so, I'd reccomend some flatworm exit and dipping the zoanthid colony in it say twice a week for a couple weeks. Trust me, these things are the last pests you want in your aquarium ;)

And for future reference, if the tweezers are glowing orange, the toxin is well fried, no need for further washing after that
