Now What?

Ok.... because of ick my tank is now empty.No water or anything. The gravel is in a bucket. I plan on pouring hot boiling water over the gravel. And Cleaning the filter out as well. Would this kill the remaining ick? The tank is dried and the gravel will get cleaned with boiling water. After doing so can I set my tank back up?

I believe you will need to keep the tank with water and the gravel at 84+F for 14 days, possibly with the addition of medication like Protozin as directed, to be sure.

What Im saying it that my tank has been dry empty. No gravel or anything. The gravel is probley dry itself, as its been in a bucket since I emptied the tank. Im going to pour hot boiling water over the gravel. Will this kill the remaining ick if any are left?
