Gymnogeophagus n.sp. 'Yi'
Gymnogeophagus Australis
Gymnogeophagus Balzanii

these are some of my favorites

Geo Surinamensis (sp) lovely fish, quite peaceful to, Brasiliensis (sp) are nice too.

Pics of the tank now Mark? Please :D

will do some pics tonight minxy after work. wasnt worth doing any last night as it was still too cloudy but its all clear now. how big does that geo grow?

threadfins dont grow as big as other earth eaters plus thread fins arent of the geo species they just have similar antics so they would be a great option for you without re-homing much

tapajos is nice. Geophagus altifrons, geophagus proximus, geophagus jurupari are nice as well. Generally, IMHO in geo or gymnogeo are nice fish.

ive got the old kid in a sweet shop thing going on again lol. thanks for all the ideas i will google them all later. love the threadfin acara after you got 1 foley so im tempted by that but also thee geos are looking mighty nice too.

love the look of geophagus tapajos think it could well have to be adios angels hello tapajos

I have a group of 5 Geophagus sp. Tapajos... and they are beauts. I unfortunately lost one to a very strong batch of ich, but all the others are fat as pigs.

What size is your tank?

Here are pics of some of mine... they are a bit bigger now and so close to being large enough for my 125gl. :)

well the tapajo is proving hard to find. nearest shop to me with them in stock is over an hour away and cant find them on wildwoods or trimar for delivery. boooooo
