You could try a couple of snails

I thought about that, but I don't want a snail invasion of babies. And I hear that some snails poop more than fish. I need help keeping the tank clean. Extra pooping snails would be defeating the purpose.

Nerite snails can't breed in freshwater ??‍ they may lay eggs but they won't hatch

Maybe I should put some on all of this Betta food I have here that my Toshi won't eat. Who knew that fish can be as finicky as any domestic mammal?? My cat will only eat Kraft singles cheese. No other brand...just Kraft. He needs a job
