I use a marine blue actinic in the front position, the rear tube is a grolux in a two tube combo.

well ive always been a reefboy so i choose a reef aquarium. man that was a hard decision, but ive always admired ste2k3's. u all had great aquariums.

yeah i pinched kens idea
in the nominated photo i have an actinic blue at the front and the standard juwel warm white at the back, both 18w 24" tubes
since posting that photo i realised just how blue it looks and that the juwel came with 2 different bulbs, the other being a daylight white (or something like that) which is now in place, giving it a lesh harsh blue look.
also done some replanting t his weekend since i discovered half my plants were bog plants

just my luck to get nominated the same month as ken though ;-)

Ken - you know i love your tank...been thinking about gettting a blue light in my tank, I've got an extra starter unit, all I need now is a spare space in my extension board, which I should get when I have disposed of my silly internal filters and the bulb..hey presto!!

Andy, looking really good mate, see we are all going to steal his idea!! !
