A couple of my cories have been scratching themselves on the rocks in my tank. I can't see any signs of White spot but one if my cories has one black spot that Ive just noticed on my cory that I can't understand as to why he has turned black, he looks like he has something under his skin??
Should I treat the tank anyway or will this do more harm than good? I have WS3 by King British which worked wonders last time when I had White spot in there before?

No I do water changes on monday's. I just fed them and as I was watching them I noticed them rubbing and then noticed the bigger one looking like his veins were sticking out or like he has something under his skin.
He haas gradually been getting darker and I don't know if his eyes look like they are bulging or if it's his change in coloration making me think this?

ME personally would do a water change. Test the water first

Whats temperature on the tank

Can you do a water test

Ph
Ammonia
Nitrate
Nitrite
??

Just goggled it and it says its usually cause by parasites.

Have a look on Google as not many people on now.

Just done a water test ammonia 0.25 nitrate 5 nitrite 0 haven't got a PH test =\ I can't do a water change right now but I will definitely do one first thing tomorrow. I think I'm gonna put the treatment in to be safe? I've read the box and I don't think it will do any harm so at least I won't be worse off.
None of the other fish seem to be bothered, usually my neons are the first to catch something but I think this may be a parasite of some sort. I think i will do a 50% water change and gravel vac.

Do a much larger water change than usual tomorrow, you shouldn't have ANY ammonia in a cycled tank. Test the water again on Tuesday and do another water change if there are still any traces.

Unless you know exactly what you're treating, don't treat the tank. It may simply be a reaction to poor water quality.

I had just fed them, I know it wouldn't make the ammonia that bad but I assume it would add to it. I last tested on Friday and ammonia was at 0 as was nitrite. I'll get on with the water change tomorrow and check my stats. My one cory's coloration has been changing over the past month or so but I've only just noticed this worm like shaping under his skin. I can't find anything on the Internet though =\

One or two large water changes should bring ammonia back to 0, but there's no point dosing a tank with something til you've done that, you'll just remove it all.
