Looks like bacterial infection growing around the gills. Not good at all. Did he get a cut or scape on his gills?

I'm not sure really.... I used to have a thing that was sharp and I removed it a few weeks ago.... If it was that would it just be showing up now?

What was it? If he got cut by the sharp thing, then yes. It could take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks before the bacterial infection really hits. His immune system must be weak.

Look up API stress coat. Also look up API melafix and pimafix antifungal.
