Just sold to me as a "common bristlenose" but wondering if there's more I should know?

It could be a BN, it's hard to tell, as only really males get lots of spikes.
BNs have a wide head too.
 
It is a common bn, domestic ancistrus, ancistrus cf cirrhosus or whatever you want to call it.
