Hey guys long time no see.

I recently bought a group of Corys that were labeled as "Wild Caught Trillineatus". At first glance they just seemed to be a bit pale from the lighting and the trip to the LFS. I picked them up and brought them home and introduced them to my other group. However after a few weeks of good food and "Coloring up" the patterns they are showing I can't seem to place, so was wondering if maybe someone here could identify these little guys for me.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks! they are quite attractive and very active. Getting along just fine with the rest of their Cory buddies, just wish I knew what they were LOL.

try getting a shot of them that includes their whole profile. the entire length of the body and the head/rostrum clearly. some ocries are more difficult to ID than others and you need a good clear full body shot  in all seriousness it would help a lot. there are a few good sites around that you could have a look too, as you see them everyday.
they are cute whatever they are. i have one im unsure of myself, just havent put a pic up yet (ill get around to it eventually:)
cheers

Took and hour or so of sitting and waiting for these guys to stay put long enough for me to grab a picture. Here's a better one:

And I have been scouring through my books and the web, seems there's a few candidates, i'll keep checking though.

That is a Julli Cory.

John Hutch - The picture you have given is of a C. trilineatus not C. Julii

R Shinjiro - I don't think that it's a C. Julii judging by that final picture. But it's a perfect picture for ID'ing from. Hope someone can help you. And just for reference, I've added in a picture of a true Julii

I might be wrong but I don't think its a julli or a trilineatus, looks very similar though, you need cory expert frank to id it for you :)

R Shinjiro I think you misread my post.
If you re-read it you'll see that I said that your cory is neither Julii or Trilineatus.

I was also pointing out that the picture John Hutch supplied was of a Trilineatus NOT a Julii which is what he said it was.
Then posted a picture of a true Julii for reference.

And just to make it clear...I 100% agree with Harlequins. Your cory isn't a Julii or Trilineatus.

It is quite impressive isn't it...how on earth you store that many corys in your brain when they have such tiny little differences....
