Really nice fish aswell,Shame they do become aggressive, I wanted a red tailed shark but not good with other tankmates.

Do you think he became aggressive because he was on his own,and not with more of his own specie Wolf?

no they are just evil to the core.
black sharks are one of the most aggressive fish you can buy, (along with Distochodus),
I was aware of that fact when I purchased him but I wasn't aware of just how bad it would get.

seriously if anyone is thinking of getting one, just don't.

I agree! Some posts have been saying that it must have been a hard decision to euthanize it. In my opinion, if the fish really did have half its face missing, then it is not going to make it! Even if its jaw is broken then the fish can be a gonner in time cuz it cant eat, let alone half its face! To me, it would be an easy decision to make as the fish was probably in agony! It was for the best. Good call and thanks for the advice on these pugnatious fish.

It was a shame it could not get another home but no one can fault you for trying.
