I really like how you set it up. :) If you want to hid the filter and heater more, just get some really tall plants, fake usually, and that really helps to make the tank look natural. Good job.

what do mean "not as nice as some of ours" :sly: that tank is very nice  all thats really missing is a background ;) any ideas yet?i say blue it'll go real nice w/the white gravel imo :D

Thx for the compliments...I am thinking about either a black or dark blue background...but I also thought about getting creative on my computer and printing my own background (at Kinkos of course... )

The gravel is actually more natural than white..an off-white if you will...the flash just washed out the color

As for plants, I know I do need more preferably some big bushy ones...but I really haven't found anything I like that looks natural...I thought about going with real plants but I am not ready to do that yet...I thought about some nice silk ones...they look real...the tank is still cycling with my 3 zebra danios so I don't want to make too many drastic changes too soon

Well when you cycle with fish you should only use 3-4 hardy fish...that's why I have 3 zebra danios (2 pictured above)...any more would be too much... at least that's what I get from reading everyone's posts about cycling...they can't ALL be wrong...

I don't know how many tanks you have. but I also read somewhere that you can also put about 10% of the water from the old tank into the new tank to help speed things up abit I don't know how true this is but it sounds logical you are adding bactiria to a tank that has none so that they can propiagate I did it for my 75 and then about a week after I did that I moved my 9 maliwi cichlids in and they are doing great......oh almost forgot grat looking tank though

You shouldnt move water (sorry juanveldez) the water just contains waste but a handful of gravel or a sponge from a mature filter squeezed out in the tank will help speed things up by seeding the new filter with good bacteria.A good lfs will should help with this, all you have to do is ask.

Looks good to me m8 B)

....one small suggestion would be to put the heaterstat at a slight angle as the warm water rising to where the 'stat is can cause it to turn off prematurely.... :/

:)

Very pretty!!!! I usually like the "less is more" method. Yours is not too busy, but has enough color to be elegant. I really like it a lot..........hmmmmmm, it reminds me of mine   :D :*)

Good Work!
