i have a question, is it true that love birds need a companion, or they will get depressed and die?

I don't think that a lovebird would die because it doesn't have a companion.

Norma Jeane is the only lovebird. She has a very unique personality. My dad is the only person that can handle her. If I try to touch the inside of her cage, she'll bite! She even attacks the cat! One time, she flew down to the cat's food bowl and bit him the nose. I think if I got her a companion, she'll attack it!
