ive been offered 5 x L66 or 5 x L333 at 1 inch for £50 delivered. but i only want 2.... could i sell the others easily? is it a good price to begin with...?

Jo's prices are excellent mate. Have the 5 and you should easily sell the rest on. Just be careful the discus don't see them as food and try pecking at them.

the tank is heavily planted with lots on no go zones for the discus so they should be ok.... do they grow very quick as i could put them in another tank until a bit bigger?
do you have any experience with either?, if so which of the 2 would be more suitable?

Yeah should be fine then if they have plenty of cover and hiding places .

Yeah ive kept and bred both species, either one will be suitable, they both require practically the same care. There not really known for fast growing (most hypan species aren't really) but at a younger age they will grow quicker then all of a sudden slow completely down lol.

I had some off Jo about 2 weeks back and i couldn't be more pleased, very healthy, very cute little fish. There's a noticeable difference in growth already but it's not dramatic but it does show.

Making sure they get enough foods at such a young age is the main aim, once that is sorted they will be fine.
