Noisy Air Pump

hiya,just looking for some advice,got a 2 port air pump,one port running a air ornament,one running buble wall,but no matter what i do,it seems extremely noisy?ne ideas how to quieten it down anyone?much appreciated,many thanks in advance

hello,

I had the same problem so today I got some egg box foam and an old box and made a sound proof box for the pump to sit in, it has quietened it down quite abit, its still audiable, but not nearly as much.

I have kept an eye on it, its been running for about 4 hours now and dosent seem to be over heating, although I will be keeping an eye on it.
