Nocturnal Feeding

I have a nocturnal catfish so how does he get the food if he is never aroound when I am feeding my fish? Does he pick up the excess food?

excess food and algae....try feeding some bottom feeder pellets at night...i do bout 30mins after lights out...see the cat go straight for it
cichlids are all sleeping

The catfish will come out and eat all the leftover food and the algae when too. You could wake up in the middle of the night to feed ,but i wouldnt.

no when you turn the lights off....wash you teeth have your shower or whatever the three s" then drop some pellets in n go to bed...so easy

ya nelly's idea is better but he will still eat all excess food and algae.
