Ok, so I was looking for alternative shrimp tanks (I would like one at home in the kitchen as well as one at work... yes yes, I have the bug ) and I thought I'd look at pets at home as I know they do some cheap basic tanks. I found this...

Fish Tank

Now... I put the dimensions into the calculator on here, and it came out at 10 litres (3 USG)... then I decided to read the sales pitch and this bit made me a wee bit angry..

Just add tap water conditioner, filter bacteria and water, and the tank is ready to house a goldfish.

It is no wonder people make mistakes and end up on here...

I think I'm going to get one of these for a shrimp tank as it is the perfect size, however, I'll be questioning P@H #17##### to why theye're advertising this as a goldfish tank (hell, a fish tank at all), when it would be animal cruelty to house a goldfish in such a tiny tank!

Its hard not to get angered by these things.
They all pass the blame onto someone else anyway so questioning them about it would be a waste of time.
The way they see it is that goldfish are big sellers and its another way of making money.

it's sickening! it's like, you go back in "my fish has died", and all you get is "you must have dne something wrong"... so they check your water (if they can be bothered), send you off with another fish and await your return when that one dies too The thought of a 10 litre tank with a goldfish or oranda in it is making me feel sick

I have complained to pets at home many of times, for various reasons, and they are yet to be helpful, so I share your frustration, but complaining won't do nothing or affect as far as they are concerned.
