No I Think Its Dropsey

ok so i got a lyertail guppy about a week ago noticed it getting very fat and i am not an over feeder and its a male so its not pregnant then i noticed the scales are pine conning it must be dropsey what do i do i don't have a hospital fish tank and i don't wanna put it in a tank with fish and it is infectious right? and i can't go to the store to buy meds because i am home sick and ugg please help should i flush the fish?
 
Please do not flush the fish.

Wilder should be on here sometime soon and she will let you know what to do.

If not, I am sure someone else will come on and give you some advice.

don't worry im not flushing it till i have advice from wilder but lets just say the little guy doesn't look like he has much time left
 
Aww don't flush him! imagine how horrid toilet water will be to him, and dies slowly!
 
That's sad, sorry for your loss.

Not all fish at LFS are healthy, that is why a quarantine tank is a good thing to have.

There a thread in tropical discussion about putting a fish to sleep. Maybe look at the thread so you no what to do next time.

o well wilder i did put him to sleep i just don't want to up set any one but yes thats how he went,it was so obvious that he was suffering,so i put him to sleep very humanly
