Hi Guys,

Can anyone help me asap as i have woke up this morning and the 60 eggs in the cave have gone not one left...

There both still guarding the cave and dad is swimming around protecting the cave and mum is in and out of the cave offen and chasing anythin off...no wigglers!!!

Do i take this as they were infertile and been eaten? i have read something about them moving the eggs? can anyone tell me anything on this and signs to look out for???

Cheers HNL_FISH

no sorry i dodnt know anything about them

If the parents are still guarding the site then the fry might be in there "hanging on". Don't give up yet!

There guarding and swimming about but they both keep going back to the cave...no signs of any eggs at all...like all 60 just gone!!!

Cant see any fry nothing at all, the eggs were only layed nearly 3 days ago is that poss for them to be lay and hatch within 2/3 days???

The parents could have eaten the eggs. Sometimes it takes a while (a few spawns) for the parents to get things right. Also if there is a pleco in the tank. They like to eat eggs. And often when the parents are in sleep mode with the lights off.
