I’ve been keeping tropical plants, carnivorous, woodland, and exotic plants, as well as reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, and fish for 30 years or so. I had not kept an aquarium for around 20 years until 18 months about. I’ve also not indulged in more than my plant addiction, since moving to Florida in 2019.
I have had a Florida native aquarium and a South American 29 gallon, both planted and dirted, for the last year and a half.

I endeavor to start a reef and perhaps an Amazon planted tank of 75-125gallons in the future, but at present, I’m retiring all of my aquariums and focusing on a 75 gallon SE Asian planted build.
It will feature Pearl gouramis as the centerpiece, with some barbs, rasboras, and loaches to round it out. I will also house shrimp.

Family health issues at present force me to keep restraint on how many tanks I can manage atm.
