I ain't getting into a argument about nitrates, that’s just silly. Loko17 I was just expressing to you my opinion about my point of working but at the end of the day Loko17 can try both methods and see which one he feels are working for HIS tank and HIS fish. Loko17 keep us posted on if you sort the little problem out and I hope that you do as you can enjoy your fish tank to the extent and see the true beauty of owning an aquarium.
