nitrate proplems

I'd be a little concerned about a product that removes nitrites as well. If they nitrites are gone then the form of bacteria that eats the nitrites could die off. So if you ever stop using the product you could wind up with a massive nitrite spike and that kinda scares me that you'd be forced into always using a product like that.

I've got 4 amazon swords adn 3 large bunches of hornwart. My nitrates overnight just went from around 60ppm to 20ppm without a water change.

hornworth probably the best natural nitrate remover. i actually have to add nitrates back into my tank for the plants.
