the degu-eeyore pic in your sig is cool, and the degu in a bowl too :cool: keep trying to get a pic of my two either asleep on top of each other, or grooming each other but they arent having any of it :(
 
I'm sorry, but what the heck is a degus? Lol, I have never heard of one before!!
 
a degu is a small mammal about the size of a small rat but without the long tail. often compared to a small chinchilla. they are generally classified as members of the lagomorph family, more closely related to cavies etc. Theyre not so handleable as things like rats or jirds, and need special care in the way of diet (as they are intolerant to sugar), but they make absolutely brilliant pets. they form really close bonds with each other as well
