Your Nile puffer is so sweet and it reminds me of Gomez, (my Nile Puffer) when he was younger.
Now Gomez has beautiful big red stripes bown his sides. Mine eats whelk as a favourite but likes cockles and prawns too, and the odd earthworm or snail. How about yours? Mine has been hand fed since he was small so he`s used to it but is becoming very fierce!! He actually has a de-formed mouth, looks like the human equivalent of a harelip. It doesn`t bother him at all though and makes him unique to us.
Mine is in a tank 7ft x 2ft, he likes bogwood to lay under and sleeps in his plant. His belly is bright yellow and his tail has got brighter as he got older, he tends to fan it out as he darts up and down the tank trying to get me to notice him at food time!!!
