Cool, looks great man, that setup is compact yet purposeful, I like it. May I suggest turning that big empty middle chamber into a refugium like SH did in the back of his nano? If you put a nice single PC or T5 lamp back there you could grow some good chaeto...

Hi i relised somethink on this! the big empty bit is only full of water when you back the water up! then this means the bio balls and inmerdged in water , so not tricklering

few options

1. leave it as it is and get a hob refugium

2. take bio balls out add live rock rubble and use the big bit as refugium

tho also i think thats there as when you power off off the sump pump ithe water backs up there, soo still testing it out!

how good are bio balls??? some people like them some dont?

IMO, a chaeto powered refugium has more nutrient-control power than bioballs, especially if the bioballs are NOT in a trickle tower

Along with loads of spondges and Aiptasias so 1st thing would probley bee a perpermint shrimp let him do all the work

you will need two though - seems that getting more than one makes them work harder on the Aiptaisia - i have two, took them about two months to start munching and only when i cut the feeding down as well

Update!! iv tryed to get my tank stocked befor i have my oppration tomorow ,as im going be stuck in my room for about 3weeks and i wanted somethink good to watch! my mate is closeing down his tank so i tock the oppatunati to have all his corals .

tock some pics but not the best as i used my mobile but you get the idea

I have loads other small frags all over just my phone cam not good enuff to take pics off!

Thanks everone, in still in hospital and had my oppration, slight pain now but shud be all good later on, be home tomorow then i will just be watching my fish tank!! hoping to get a wrass put in it soon, would be my 1st fish is this wise?
