Newly Skiddish Bloodfins

my bloodfins who usually loved it when i went near my tank recently, in the past few days became very skiddish.

the only time they dont swim aaway and hide in the corner is when they are waiting at the top of the tank for food. i added 5 cory cats to the tank the other day and right after that is when their skiddishness started to occur , that a new fake plants which is now what they hide behind in the corner. there is usually always one however maybe two who dont run and hide they usually stay out and about around the tank but even then if i put my hand near the tank they will dart as well.. im not really scared anything bad happened im just more curious as to why they have this new found behavior if anybody could help me out

The Uarus come from waters similar to discus and would not like the higher flow, nor would they do well with the hyper activity of the danios/barbs.

A few questions. How large is the tank? How many do you have? How is the aquarium decorated?

its a 55 gallon the they were the only fish in there until i added the corys.

there is 8 bloodfins and 5 corys

im not sure how i want to decorate it yet so i just threw a couple of decoarations i had in there. there is 4 decorations in a line going threw the center of the tank spaced out pretty evenly. i have 2 live plants and7 fake plants. oh and i have a bubble wall in the back but all the fish seem to love that thing
